Many stars = an enormous achievement for our guests? Very often, many stars (in this case, many is 5 or 6 of them) entails an enormous effort for service and hardware, efforts, which you as a guest often will not be aware of, or which you may not even want. Still these efforts will have a significant effect on any hotel’s rates.

Evaluation systems have too little effect on a hotel’s quality of service or the degree of your satisfaction with the services offered. We believe, for example, that it is much more important to you to have a state-of-the-art security system, than it is to have fresh flowers in your room every day.

That is why KINGs HOTELs have developed their very own Crown-Standard, in addition to the 3- and 4-Star classification they have been awarded:

Take your time for checking out. Should you need to, you may keep your room until 1 p.m., as is customary in any 5-Star hotel.
Take your time for checking in. Simply let us know one day in advance whether you need your room in the morning.
Children up to the age of 14 can sleep in their parents’ room, free of charge.
We close our hotels during any larger renovation activity.
During smaller renovation activities we offer special room rates.
Your four-legged companion is always welcome, at extra fee.
Our rooms offer highest standards even to allergy sufferers. With Sympatex-covered mattresses as a protection against mites, special carpet-cleaning procedures, wall paints without artificial scents and filtered air for breathing comfort assure your stress-free stay with us. And whatever is good for sensitive allergy sufferers can’t be bad for our other guests.
We offer rooms with a guaranty on peace and quiet. For a small additional charge, you can enjoy an absolute quiet room facing the courtyard and further additional extras.
Your credit card reservation is absolutely binding to us. No other guest will receive your room.
Every six months, our hotels are investigated by anonymous “hotel-spies”.

All mattresses are at least two metres long, 18 to 20 centimetres thick and will comfortably adapt to the shape of your body, due to their special pocket-coil innerspring design. You will sleep like a king!

For hygiene reasons we do not use bedspreads
During the 25 minutes allotted for cleaning your room, the chambermaid will do exactly that.
Any deep cleaning such windows or carpet disinfection etc will be done by specially trained staff, while the room is not in use

We do not use “spray-pistols” for our mineral water and soft-drink bar, but only bottles filled by the manufacturer. This assures reliable quality of drinks and absolute hygiene
Push buttons in the elevators are easy to read, and are sterilized.
Schedule for additional hygiene: mattress coverlets, special (Sympatex) pillowcases are washed/laundered quarterly
Window-cleaning = quarterly
Carpet-cleaning and disinfection: every six months
Deep cleaning of all furniture: once per half year. All furniture is moved, cleaned, oiled and polished with wax
Cleaning and disinfection of aeration systems and ventilation grids: once a month
Every three months: voluntary bacteria and hygiene controls done by an independent laboratory (beds, toilets, carpets, kitchen)
Every six months, inspection of drinking water supply for sterility (Legionella prevention)
Our hotels are maintained in top-condition. Every two years, at the latest, we commission smaller renovation projects. Every seven years, the houses are renovated.

The reception is only three metres away from the entrance. In case of need, every metre counts.
Escape stairs are maximally 15 metres away, at any point of the hotel.
Both hotels have only seven floors – the fire brigade will always get the 8th floor!
Fire-retardant furnishing in the entire room (flame-resistant or flame retardant curtains, mattresses, furniture).
Smoke detectors in every room and in every corridor.
Access to the rooms by strangers made difficult by barriers and controls at reception.
Video surveillance system in all publicly accessible areas.
