Directions to get to central Munich and the KINGs HOTELs: no matter which direction you come from, be it the Franz Josef Strauss Airport, the trade fair, or the ICM, a fast-moving motorway will take you directly to the centre of town, the main station and the KINGs HOTELs. Munich is the perfect starting point for sightseeing in Bavaria, for trips to the Starnberg lake, the Neuschwanstein castle or Oberammergau.
Directions by Car: from Stuttgart, Nuremberg, Salzburg, Lindau via the Motorway to your Hotel in Munich City Centre near the Train Station:
On the motorway, watch out for exit signs to “München Zentrum”. Follow these signs to the main station. Take a look at your map: you will see that you will have to keep right of the main entrance in order to get to the 3 star Hotel Center in Marsstrasse 15, or to 4 star Hotel First Class in Dachauer Strasse 13. Parking lots are available to you in the hotel’s own garage or at the Parkhaus, one left turn next to the KING’s HOTEL Center’s entrance in the Marsstrasse. Transportation by Train: from Berlin, Paris or Rome, to Munich Hauptbahnhof – Munich Train Station
Both KING’s HOTELs are just a few minutes on foot away from Munich main train station, in a north-easterly direction. The Deutsche Bahn, the German railway company, will be happy to provide you with timetable information. You can order your tickets online.
Arrival by Air: how to get from Munich Airport MUC to Munich City Centre
In order to get to your city centre hotel, rent a car at Munich Airport, then follow the signs to „München Zentrum“. A taxi from the airport to the hotel will cost 50 to 60 EUR. Every ten minutes, the commuter railway S-Bahn, the S1 and S8, or the airport shuttle bus will conveniently take you to the Munich main train station, nearly as fast as a taxi. Travel time is only 40 minutes. In only 5 minutes walking distance you arrive at your KING's Hotel. Our porter will meet you at the train station and bring your luggage to your hotel for only 6 EUR.
