Directions to get to central Munich and the KINGs HOTELs: no matter which direction you come from, be it the Franz Josef Strauss Airport, the trade fair, or the ICM, a fast-moving motorway will take you directly to the centre of town, the main station and the KINGs HOTELs. Arrival by Car: from Stuttgart, Nuremberg, Salzburg, Lindau via the Motorway to your Hotel in Munich City Centre near the Train Station:
On the motorway, watch out for exit signs to “München Zentrum”. Follow these signs to the main station. Take a look at your map: you will see that you will have to keep right of the main entrance in order to get to the KING’s HOTEL Center in Marsstrasse 15, or to KINGs HOTEL First Class in Dachauer Strasse 13. Parking lots are available to you in the hotel’s own garage or at the Parkhaus, one left turn next to the KING’s HOTEL Center’s entrance in the Marsstrasse. Transportation by Train: from Berlin, Paris or Rome, to Munich Hauptbahnhof – Munich Main Station
Both KING’s HOTELs are just a few minutes on foot away from Munich main station, in a north-easterly direction. The Deutsche Bahn, the German railway company, will be happy to provide you with timetable information. It is also possible to order your tickets online. Should you travel with a lot of luggage, please take advantage of one of our luggage porters, who are available to meet you at the main station, and who will take your luggage all the way to the hotel for a fee of 6.00 EUR. Arrival by Air: how to get to Central Munich from Munich Airport MUC
In order to get to your city centre hotel, rent a car at Munich Airport, then follow the signs to „München Zentrum“. A taxi from the airport to the hotel will cost you 50 to 60 EUR. Every ten minutes, the commuter railway S1 and S8 or the airport shuttle bus will conveniently take you to Munich main station, nearly as fast as a taxi. Travel time is 40 minutes. Are you coming with a lot of luggage, or do you feel like a bit of luxury?
