In order to get to the Messe Munich and the ICM you drive roughly 17 kilometres by car. It is easier to use the subway system from Munich’s central railway station and travel directly to the Messe. Munich has a population of over a million and yet all the major sights are within five kilometres of the hotel at the most. Enjoy Munich on foot, by bike or with the tram, underground or bus. You can walk to the museums – Pinakothek, Brandhorst museum, Lenbach House, Glyptothek – from the hotel. You only need to travel 2 or 3 stations by underground in order to get to the Deutsches Museum with its unique exhibits, the Isar or the philharmonic hall in the Gasteig. You want to go and shop in Munich? The shopping mile stretches from the Karlsplatz / Stachus to the Marienplatz and the town hall. Look out for the exit to München Zentrum when driving down the motorway. Follow the signs to Hauptbahnhof München. Keep to the right of the main entrance to Munich’s central railway station in order to drive to the KING’s HOTELs, as shown on the map above. Using your navigation system you will find the KING’s Hotel Center in the Marsstraße 15 without any difficulty. When approaching the KING’s Hotel First Class in the Dachauer Straße 13, your navigation system may ask for the city area because the Dachauer Straße begins at the central railway station Munich-Maxvorstadt and ends in Karlsfeld. Enter Muenchen-Maxvorstadt.
The parking lot for the KING’s HOTEL Center, 80335 Munich-Maxvorstadt, Marsstraße 15, is situated in the multi-storey car park to the left of the hotel entrance.
In the KING’s Hotel First Class, 80355 Munich-Maxvorstadt, Dachauer Straße 13, you can park your car in the hotel’s yard. You can of course use the multi-storey car park just 100 metres away next to the KING´s HOTEL Center.
It is easy to take the subway from Munich airport to Munich’s central railway station. The journey takes about 40 minutes. The airport bus that travels to the central railway station starts every 20 minutes and takes about the same time as the subway. It is not far from the railway station to the KING’s HOTEL Center in the Marsstraße15 and to the KING’s Hotel First Class in the Dachauer Straße 13, see the above map. Or rent a car at Munich airport and follow the signs that read “München Zentrum”. See the map above for directions to get to the hotel by car. A taxi from Munich airport to the hotel by the central railway station costs about 60 Euros and is hardly faster than the underground or the airport bus.
Both KING's HOTELs are situated just a few minutes on foot to the north east of Munich’s central railway station. If you don’t have too much baggage you can easily walk, a taxi will cost you 6 Euros.
